Sunflowers

This card is the last one of the day and excuse the photo but the lighting in the living room isn't great.
I made this card using shapes created with the Brother Scan n Cut as well as a circle die from Spellbinders and a frame die from Tattered Lace.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the card candy is from Craftwork Cards. All the papers are printed onto inexpensive light card using Nitwits papers from various collections including one of their Halloween collections. The ribbon comes from my local craft shop.

This card is for the following challenges:

* Fall and a sentiment - Aud Sentiments,
* Anything Goes - Bizzy Becs,
* Signs of Autumn  - Ooh, La La
* Autumn colours and lace/ribbon or trim - Really Reasonable Ribbon,
* Tickets - Simon Says Stamp,
* Sketch - Sketchy Colors,

Puddles Of Love

This card is made using the Personal Impressions stamp called Puddles of Love card and considering it's currently raining outside at the moment it's very appropriate!

The image is coloured using the Polychromos and if you have read my other posts of today you know they are new favourite addition to my crafty stash. I also used the pencils to colour white card in the same orange colour as her boots and then used Zest it solution to smooth the colour out as I couldn't find a piece of orange card that was the right colour. The layering dies are all from Spellbinders and the smaller circles and greeting was cut using my Brother Scan n Cut. The backing paper is from one of the Nitwits range.

This card is made for the following challenges:

* Colours - ColourQ
* Birthdays - Fussy and Fancy
* Weather and birthdays - Seize The Birthday,
* Weather - Crafts 4 Eternity,
* Sketch (# 375) - Sketch Saturday,

Summer Sunflowers

Hi, I am going to continue using the Gorjuss range for my next card which is using the Personal Impressions stamp Daisy. I used the Polychromos to colour this image and I like that you can add just a little bit of colour using the pencils unlike pens which I find you can easily add to much.

I also used some twine from Docrafts, some sticklers glitter glue and a charm from my local craft shop Sew Simple. The stamped frame is also from one of the Docrafts Gorjuss range. I used my Brothr Scan n Cut to die cut the sunflowers and leaves.

This card was made for the following challenges:

* No patterned papers - Crafty Cardmakers,
* Vacation - Hanna and Friends
* Anything Goes - Craft Your Passion
* Summertime / Summer flowers - Country View ChallengesPenny Black and more,
* Photo inspiration - Shabby Tea Room,
* Recipe (1 natural, 1 metal and 1 sparkly element) - Catch The Bug,

Back to school Little Red card

Hi all, it's been a while since I've last posted on my blog but life as it does took over for a while. I have recently invested in some new colouring pencils which has started me crafting again. I bought the Faber Castell Polychromos and they are fantastic! I can't seem to stop using them and are really lovely  to colour with. As soon as I saw them I knew that they were perfect for colouring in the Gorjuss stamps.

I made this first card using the new pencils to colour in Little Red and the apples from the Docrafts Gorjuss range and used the book and book stack from the New Heights stamp set from Personal Impressions. The card blank is from a kit from Create and Craft (sorry I don't remember which one) and the papers, buttons and ribbon etc are from the Docrafts coordinating kits. The green and red card is actually from the inside of the stamp packaging! The oval die is from the Kedleston set made by Tattered Lace.

I made this card for the following challenges:

* Recycle/Upcycle - Allsorts
* Anything goes - Stamping SensationsDelightful ChallengesSimon Says,

* Take Your Pick (buttons) - Papertake Weekly Challenge,
* Back to school or school related inspiration - Scrap CreationsThe Stamping Boutique{PIN}spirationalCrafty CreationsC.R.A.F.TSweet Stampin,
